Ranks
You climb the ranks by building respect, and every rank unlocks something new. The list below is taken straight from the game.
How you climb the ranks
You climb through 15 ranks as you build Respect, from Sivilist (civilian) to Capo Don. Why some menu items are locked
Some features open as you rise in rank, so you are not faced with everything at once as a new player. A locked menu item shows the rank you need to open it. Roughly in order: casino and lotto first, then extortion, plantation and logistics, then organized crime, Streetfight, street racing and joining or founding a gang, then the stock market and Battle Royale, then political contacts, and finally the marina. Property and the bunker are ALWAYS available, because protection should never have to wait. Some pages are open in the menu even though an action inside them has its own rank: on Businesses you can come in from day one and take a shift if you are employed, but applying for a job requires the rank Lommetyv and buying your own business requires Soldat. Territories is open for the same reason: a new gang member should be able to travel home and defend their city. Hitlist is also open from day one: anyone can take the contracts from the underworld, while putting out a contract on a player, or taking one, requires Langer. Goods theft sits in the right-hand column on the Crimes page and opens at Småkjeltring.
After Capo Don: Legend levels
This is the endgame — ways to keep developing once you have maxed something out. PRESTIGE ON CRIMES: once you have fully mastered a crime (100%), you can “prestige” it. That resets your mastery of that crime, but gives you a permanent ★ star that raises the payout and the chance of success slightly, plus 100 respect. The bonuses stop at ★15 (+75% payout) and ★10 (+10 percentage points chance), and the respect stops at ★15. You can keep prestiging to show your effort, but from ★16 the star gives no bonus and no respect. The same applies to the methods in Car theft, where the bonus applies to the car’s value. LEGEND LEVELS: the rank ladder tops out at Capo Don. When you get there you receive a one-time reward in Gold and an announcement, and after that your respect keeps counting toward numbered Legend levels (Legend I, II, III …). You keep your rank when you prestige — it does not fall back — and each Legend level gives small, lasting benefits such as higher energy and adrenaline caps and an extra business slot for every fifth level.
